Growing up in the Lake District there is a lot of beauty and inspiration on my doorstep. Ever since I was a small child I have been fascinated by my surroundings and also by the talents I have seen in family, friends and local artists.
Over the years I have tried my hand at many art forms as hobbies from drawing and painting to cake decorating to pyrography and loved the chance to learn about all of them.
In 2016 I was given the opportunity to move from working in retail to train as a woodturner and found something that I loved! I enjoy making items that are beautiful and bring joy to people.
In 2021 I decided to set up my own small workshop based in Windermere to make beautiful gifts that hopefully will make people smile. I am still a work in progress and in time I hope to incorporate some of the art forms that I already enjoy and others that I would like to learn more about.
My workshop is 4 Oakside Yard, Oak Street, Windermere, LA23 1FA.
Currently I am not open to walk ins but you can contact me to make an appointment to discuss projects.
Hopefully in the future I may have a day or two a week when people can pop in!
